The DOG Hotel in Randwick will host the definitive Aus V. NZ Show Down: Week-Long Tap Takeover.

Pouring across 16 taps, this show down will feature the very best in local craft beer across both countries...and because ol’ fashioned show downs don’t start without a coupla’ name drops – we will be rolling up our sleeves in the company of Panhead, Sydney Brewery, Grifter, Yeastie Boys…and many, many more! or confuse the system by washing your fush & chups down with some top-notch Strayin’ liquid gold. Bloody oath. 

 …and because a heated dispute is best settled over a cold beer and a hot meal, The DOG will be dishing up week-long meal specials to cater for the acquired taste of your average Kiwi and fellow True Blue. Menu options are designed to not only represent the iconic dishes of NZ and Oz but to compliment the flavours of locally sourced ingredients found in this selection of beers. Confuse the system by washing your fush & chups down with some top-notch Strayin’ liquid gold. Bloody oath.

I had a great experience at the DOG last weekend. i had booked outside however due to the cold weather the team changed the booking at the very last minute and set our group of 20 up with a new spot indoors. Roast dinner was delicious and only had good feedback from other guests. Love the beer selection!!

Our older guests were very impressed with the refurbishment of the hotel.We were very happy with the attentiveness and help of your Manager on the night....can't remember his name but seemed to have a French accent. Also bar staff good, particularly the young woman who came out from the bar and helped us during the night in various ways.
